About this website

This Web site is a collaborative effort between the Northeastern Area State and Private Forestry, the USDA Forest Service Northern Research Station, the Purdue University Department of Forestry and Natural Resources, the Hardwood Tree Improvement and Regeneration Center, the American Walnut Manufacturers Association, and the Walnut Council.

Our goal is to provide comprehensive, accurate, and timely information regarding issues related to the thousand cankers disease. Creation of the site comes from the support of the USDA Forest Service, and is administered through Purdue University.
